Is VB.NET an OOP?

Is VB.NET an OOP?
Is VB.NET an object oriented language (like its equivalent – c#)?
Thanks.

u know what sucks majorly about .NET, they are pushing for C# so much that when u go looking for code for C++ .NET it is almost impossible to find, though conversion is simple when u understand which objects require pointers and what now...

in saying that it is all broken down into the same construct... like C#, C++, VB.NET are all the same in the compiler or some crap like that, especially when using windows forms...

C# and VB.net should be united.

This is exactly why a asked the question
If VB is OOP then it seems that the only diffracted between VB.net and C# (c++.net)
Is syntax.

hmm some would say that in .NET, but it is still how it gets down to the processing... C++ quicker than most of the things u can get in .NET
