Hostony has become much too undependable. My sites are down way too often. I'm paid up with them until September, but in the meantime I'll be migrating my sites. Can anyone suggest a good hosting company? I don't need tremendous bandwidth, but I need maybe 2GB storage and unlimited domains. Virtual hosting is fine, I don't need a dedicated box. I'm thinking about Godaddy's new plans. They look pretty good and I'd like to think Godaddy will be dependable. There was another host mentioned here a few months ago that looked perfect, but I can't recall who it was.

Thanks, but that's a higher level of hosting than I need. I realize if I were willing to pay $35-$50/month that I have dependability. I'm just not willing to pay that much. Still, there's got to be someone better than Hostony. I bet if I really kept track of the up and down time, my uptime would be around 80%, which is pretty bad. |

I have had good experiences with GoDaddy for what it is worth.

I can make a few suggestions of webhosts to not try
Two of which would be dreamhost and netfirms. Work great for file storage and the like but way too slow and not enough uptime for a real site IMO.
Hope GoDaddy works for you. |
