So, I've just gotten picked up to do some small editing to a website for a company in the area. I've connected to their server with ftp in Dreamweaver and I've downloaded all the files, however, for whatever reason I could not edit portions of the code.
I've come to learn that it had to do with the template used to create the website in the first place (the original creator is no longer available). If I could access the template, I could easily update the website, but for some reason... That template is GONE. It didn't appear to be uploaded to the server and therefore, I do not have it available.
Is there any way that I could easily remake it or something so that I can edit this website. It's locked me out of manually doing it page by page because of editable texts and whatnot... I'm thinking that I'm going to remake the template, but... Let me know if there's something a little more simple. I'm not all that keen on dreamweaver.
