site won't find the CSS file - help!

Hi

I've been working on my site on my local system, and today I uploaded the files to my host space to see how fast the pages download etc

Even though the directory structure is the same, my index.html page is just all text, as if it can't find the CSS file. I tried changing the LINK address to the absolute url, but that still doesn't work.

Am I missing a piece of the puzzle here?

make sure caps are all the same!! if you're hosting at home on a windows server it's NOT case sensitive but if your real web server is linux (most shared servers are) it's running linux which is case sensitive!!

Also make sure that the css file is publicly readable on the server. chmod it to 664 if it's not.
