Visual Basic help

Hi all. I'm using Visual Basic through an Access Database that I have.

I am creating a form to generate several reports. On the left side of the form I have command buttons that are controlling which criteria the user can enter for that report. Right now I have it as the following

Private sub cmdAgentReport _Click()
lblagentfirm.visible=true
cmbagentfirm.visible=true
End Sub

I need to be able to shortcut all the options that I do not want visible so that I'm not typing everything out to be visible.false

I remember once someone said something about the Me.Function but I have no knowledge of that or if it would even work. Any information would be great. Thanks for the help in advance.

create one function that sets everything to false - then call that function when needed, otherwise doing it a cheap, make a frame/BG img/label that covers everything and just set it to false or true.... hope that helps

btw my motto is - doesn't have to be brilliant just has to work

if you make a method to make everything false...call that FIRST then make everything you want visible after that
