I am doing a project for my school in Microsoft Access.
What I am trying to do is to make a combo box and in that combo box you get different names of machines and when you click on the machine I want the weight (in numbers) to appear instead of the name of the machine.
My friend said that theres no other way in doing it else than VB.He also said that its packaged in Access so he told me to go to this site and register for help.
he might actually be right - but why not have a combo box and a text field beside so that when they select the machine the weight appears in the text fields, so if they need to change machine they don't get a series of weights instead
