Query tool and access rights

I wanted to know others opinions on tools like Query Analyzer... I use it at work alot because im always running stuff on our SQLServer DB. I like Query Analyser but i definately see it for someone who is somewhat familiar with computers. The reason I say this is because at work we had an accounting person come in and talk to our accountants and tell them how to get at the data they need on the backend of the DB, so this is somewhat good because it will take a good bit of the queries off of me.

Anyway what I wated to know is if there are any free programs out there like query analyzer that have less controls and really will just give the user an interface to right their query and run it? I also wanted to ask about how I should do the security on them.. I usually do my work with the sa password, or use a "Trusted Connection" and i guess since in AD im an Admin I have ample rights... How should I set the few people up that want to be able to run .sql queries on the database? Should I add database users? If so how do I make it so all they can do for one DB are SELECT statements?

Thoughts/Suggestions?

in enterprise manager you can add their AD user to the security for the server.
Then go to the database and right click the specific tables you want to give them rights to and select properties
On the page there is a permissions button you can give the users specific select/insert/delete rights

If you have at least sql 2000 you can create 'Roles' (aka groups).
You assign hte permissions on the tables by Roles, then add the users to the specific Role

ie if you want a reporting Role for your accounting people.

I never ever use the sa account, I only use trusted.

If I'm creating a website then I use sql server accounts that only have rights to specific tables.
You can also specify which columsn to give people rights to if you wish.
