image slideshow on a jpg webpage

So i have put together a website I used a Image editing program to build the layout and was using image maps for all the links. I have left a blank spot in the page so that i could possible overlay a image slide show....is there a way to actually do that?

Yes, but if you need to ask it may be too complicated for a beginner. I'm sure google could help.

your entire page is a jpeg? wow...that's gonna be a big page! lol. You're going to need to use javascript to make the image slideshow...

Who mentioned the "entire page"?

The OP says "I have left a blank spot in the page so that i could possible overlay a image slide show...." It could be a slideshow the size of a postage stamp which would not make it a "big page" at all. :-)

i figured out how to get it done...no worries
