Embedded blogging?

Is there a free blogging service that allows embedding of the blog into a website, or a way to do it with existing blogging platforms, preferribly "Blogger"? TY.

I'm not certain I fully understand what you are trying to achieve but I can say blogger is not a stand alone client, its dedicated for use only on blogger.

edit: if you just need a stand alone blog client you'll need to check with your hosting company and see whats supported wordpress for one needs php and mysql

I just need a blog that I can insert into an html page in a website I'm creating. It doesn't need to be anything fancy. Could I just do it with the feed link? All I need is to be able to stream posts (full text and title) into a seperate XHTML / CSS page. I'll look into using wordpress.

Yes, so I can insert a blog into a larger website, making it unnessicary for the user to have to leave the website to go to the blogging platform.

maybe something like this http://simplepie.org/demo/ it uses php and reads rss feads from whatever blog you want to use.

Thats still going to link you off site to where ever the blog is hosted. If you just want to build a blog, use wordpress and build a template that matches your site. Otherwise without some sort of example of what you are trying to achieve I really don't understand where you are headed.
