Batch file or Script file ???

Question on writtting a script file or batch file for copying a folders to another location how can I do that cause as far as a bat file all I can do is copy a file and thats about it.

MD D:\MyNewFolder (make directory makes a new folder on D drive)

Copy C:\MyNewFolder\*.* D:\MyNewFolder

when moving a file in a bash (i'm making an assumption there) all you really are doing is copying the file

Copy - makes a copy on the new location.

Move - does just that. It relocates the file from the original location to the new location.

Copy and delete the original file is much safer.
