Perl and Ikonboard Just Stop Working!?

I am the webmaster for a local band called Too Bad Eugene. The webhost hasn't set up their server to run our messageboard yet, so i am basicaly forced to run it off my own server. The messageboard is a Perl script called Ikonboard.
I have perl installed, with the DBI, DBD-Perl, and DB_File modules installed. The problem is, after a period of time, which changes all the time, the server will just stop parsing Perl scripts and visitors recieve a 404 error.
My server is a eMachine 333k (yes, ha ha, i know, but it was free) running Windows 2000 Server. I have the latest version of ActivePerl installed along with MySQL, which isn't being used for anything, so it's disabled right now.

Is the server logging any errors? I assume you are running IIS?

When it dumps out like this, can you goto a command line and run the perl scripts manually?
