look up vissable cells only after a row #
IN EXCEL, i want to return data from the first cell in a column..... i am using a pulldown button halfway down a column that chooses the cells with the data that i wish to display. ie. th row numbers down the side of the page might stop at say 25 where the pull down button is, then there is data in all the cells in that column from 26 to 400. when i select the types of info to display with the pulldown button, some of the row numbers will be hidden to only show the data required. i want to retrieve the data from the first row number cell that is visable wether it is number 26 or number 54 ect and show it in another cell elsewhere.

YOu might need to wait for a member called Epidemic to come online.
Or you might want to send him a Private Message, he is our resident excel expert.

I dont believe you'll find a builtin method for this, I'd venture to guess it would require a macro or a bit of VBA to accomplish
