    razorbytes custom computers

Well, I decided to redo my site properly, using Dreamweaver this time . I think its much better.. much more professional looking. Its still lacking of course compared to proper computer company websites. You really appreciate how hard these things are when you try!

Not done yet, but what do ya think?

Under "Welcome to Razorbytes Custom Computers " you should put a few sentences like " we specilize in professional comp building, repair and diagnosis, one on one support etc..." that way it pushes the links at the bottom down and takes up more of the page. Also Id make your Razorbytes logo at the top a link to the homepage.

Other than that its looks great.

Why are you using such a small paper space? If you're targeting enthusiasts, don't build a website for 800x600.

Hmm, ya think? Should it be wider or longer? I am not done with it yet. A nice big picture is going to go where the Main Content words are located. So that should meke the page longer

Oh btw, I was having some problems with Dreamweaver, you guys mind checking it out if you know anything about it? Thanks

Most people run at least 1280x1024 now. I typically design either fully dynamic width for 85%, or a static 900px. Sometimes, using dynamic can be too much since 85% of 1200 is pretty huge and content doesn't usually look as good when it's so spread out.

The height just ends up being whatever it is, unless I have some sort of restriction.

The text looks really small on 64bit ubuntu, but its still readable just hard for my eyes to see (maybe I should clean the fingerprints off my moniter too).

Hmm. I dunno why but it likes to display funny in IE as well. In any case, I'm almost done with my site. Sorry for the ego, but IMO (and most of my friends) it does look really good And pretty professional.

If you use IE does all my content somehow display below the green sidebar? Oh and does the text come out funny anywhere else? Some of my friends tell me they get funny results with different browsers

Anyways, tell me what you think

PS: the cool picture of the case on my front page is a heavily photoshopped version of the case on the uberclok website . Here it is.

Gaming PC, Entertainment PC, Overclocked Gaming Computers, Uberclok Products

Its the red one in their main picture. See the similarities? I lvoe photoshop

I like the look of the site. The menu box is covering stuff up though. Also anyway to make the FAQ & Downloads boxes pop to the right? Now they just cover Support & About Us. IE7, Vista Home Premium 32bit.

Arrggghh...what the hell did you do? It's too busy now. -1,000,000,000,000^100,000 points!!!!

And what is that monstrosity next to all the damn too busy badge signs???

Omg!! You ruined the nice, clean, crisp professional page. Now, it's a "kiddy" page. Not the clients you want. Not if you want to make the big $'s

You forgot RULE NUMBER 1: K.I.S.S. "Keep It Simple Stupid"

Please go back to the original page. Take the badges, shrink them down and put them at the bottom of the page. Or do away with them.

I'm serious..in my IT dept, my row is right next to the web designers...2 programmers and a graphics artist. I showed them the first page. They were like "nice page, needs some work, but good start". Showed them the latest and one of them puked, the other 2 passed-out. They were like "wtf we supposed to do with all those badges? You can't click on them???" And that case JPG is out of focus and looks like a six-pack of some alien monster!!!"
