automated print count retrieval?
We have several printers that we need to get monthly print counts off of. We connect to the IP of the printer using internet explorer. After entering a username/password, the print count is then available via the web interface. The interface is similar to a HP or Dell network printer, where you connect VIA IP to set it up.
Is there an automated way to do this? Can I write a script or utility to grab this data from the printer once a month?

I don't see why you couldn't write a simple applet that would automatically input the information and then parse out the retrieved information and write it to text file. But then I don't actually know if that's possible with IE/security settings.
