How are you logging in? Using what FTP client? Does the "ftp user" have an account on the server?

Well I would suggest reading alittle bit about 2K FTP Administration so you do it correctly. Sounds like to me you need a tutorial on how to set it up. |

Is your server a domain controller? If so, regular users are not allowed to logon locally. You'll have to open your group policy editor, and change the security settings to allow users to logon locally, or make everyone an administrator. And I don't think you want to do that |
