    Looks fine, but you may want to use a brighter shade of red for the links. They are hard to read with the black background.

    I like the site alot. Was very happy to see Dave matthews on your playlist. But I do have a question and a suggestion.
    Question: can people download your songs or are they just there to show what you have stored?
    Suggestion: remove the frame border and the site will look like one page istead of 2 seperate pages (just a suggestion)
    Keep up the good work!!!

    Jacob, nice site! great pics.
    Only problem I had was once I clicked on a link, now I can't read them anymore they are too dark against the black..
    (could it be the color on my monitor?)

    the playlist just shows my songs, you cant download them.. its a basic winamp generated list but copied/changed color... you "could" download them if i had them shared but i dont cause i just have dial up

    burning cat, try something like kazaa, or sometimes better for abstract songs is audiogalaxy

    surreal, the viewed link is dark blue, i can lighten it though.. will do it later, i am in a lazy mood tonight

    I critiqued edwelly earlier today and was a little harsh, so I'll keep it going.

    Before I do though I just want to let you know I'm not trying to knock your site at all, it's your site and it's your creation. At the end of this you can say I don't care for your comments and thats fine, I'm just commenting on things that in MY opinion could help.

    White text on Black background, Fantastic! Very Easy to read.
    Link: REd
    Visit: Blue
    Active: purple
    ......terrible. I'm sorry but that is REALLY hard to read. The red isn't so bad but the blue and purple is almost impossible to make out (even with my glasses on). why not use color's which are clearer on black. If you want to keep the red or blue (some people are passionate about certain colors) then try this. Instead of red underlined links why not make the links white and underlined.
    To keep your fav colors involved add a hover attribute using CSS. When the user hovers over the link it changes color. This works in most browsers 4 and up (NN4.* doesn't support it from memory though).
    If your not sure what I mean try this.
    In between the <head></head> tags (try with just your menu page firstly) include this......

    <style>
    a.menu {text-decoration: underline;}
    a.menu:link { color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration: underline; }
    a.menu:visited { color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration: underline; }
    a.menu:hover { color: #FF0000; text-decoration: underline; }
    </style>

    Then include <a class=menu href="mypage.htm">link</a>
    The link will appear white and underlined, and when you mouse over it will change to red and underlined. You can change the Hexidecimal values(#0000FF) for different colors, and you can also change the text decoration to none, underlined, overline etc.
    An underline and over line looks quite good, for that just use
    text-decoration: underline overline;
    Try out the different styles.

    I don't like frames. It makes it impossible to bookmark specific pages within your site. The menu page (minus the angelfire guff they put in) is quite a small page, and it wouldn't take longer (not noticably anyway) to load it with the rest of the page as you navigate through the site (ie, eliminate the frame and include the menu on every page). And I agree with what edwelly said, drop the border between the two frames. If you want a distinguishing divider make the menu frame a dark blue. Also, while were on the topic if must use frames make it a fixed size. Your web site should be a finished product, when you can resize the frame it appears to be unfinished (to me anyway).

    Your backgrounds? FANTASTIC. They are amazing. did you created them from scratch, or does Bryce 5 help out a bit. I'm going to check out that software now.

    It appears like you have a very strong graphic design ability, try and use that in your site's look and feel.

    Like I said, please don't take this personally, I'm only making some suggestions. All in all, it's a good first site.

    If I haven't explained something here thoroughly let me know and I'll try and help.

    Cheers

    justa.

    no i think your comments are great..
    and its not even that i like red blue or purple (as fonts) that much.. i just cant find something to go with the black background..maybe a green, we'll see
    but the black background has to stay..gotta have a site that sticks out somehow
    as for frames.. everyone hates them, but i love them
    they stay at least untill i learn to make nice little menus..
    i will check out making the frames fixed..
    and bryce, i made all the pics in bryce, but from scratch - some preset skys used, but i think i altered 90% + of them

    alright, i changed link colors, link is a pale green
    active is a bright blue, and vistited is a paler blue - i think they all show up alright, let me know
    i made the frame border black and set border size to 0.. so if you could still move it.. i dont know, but i cant.. or i just cant find it

    i am going to work on some buttony pics for the menu.. we'll see how that goes
