Hello,
We are working on a new site http://www.resources911.com this site is going to be our main network site. But it is going to have content of its own.
I am posting this topic hopeing to get some reviews on the design, ect. The content isn't all up yet. That brings me to my nxt question.
I am having some trouble dividing the html into header and footer files. I can normally do this but the design is htmled weird.
If someone could please help me either we a comment about the design or a solution to me delima. It would be a blessing.
Thanks

Don't know about the coding problem, but the design is pretty cool.

photos911: I really like your work. My only "suggestion" is that when you select one of you links, you have it open in a new window. I think that you site is nice enough to remain open so poepl can check out other sites/products that you offer...

Can I suggest that the way the font changes when you mouseover a link is rather annoying - everything below gets pushed down a few pixels and it's rather distracting!

Oh, yeah, the HTML is very confusing! It took me a little while to figure it out, that the 'top' of the page (the header and menu) is actually at the bottom of the HTML source, plus it gets dynamically generated in-client by javascript, so you can only see it with the View Partial Source devtool (at least in IE, in Mozilla things are a little better )
I reckon you ought to move the menu code to the top, it's CSSed into place so it hardly matters where in the source it comes & it'll be easier to maintain that way
Also I know this might be a bit of work but it might be an idea to port the menu generation to php, as that way it'll work with users who have JavaScript turned off or restricted. Plus it's only good manners to do as much work as possible server-side rather than making the client do the work
Other than that, nice site! |

Thanks,
I will fix those things. But I am still confused on how to divide in into two parts. |
