| A simple MYSQL database program needed.
Hi.
I need a program where i can have some custom fields where i can input customer names and where they can search for their name and check the status of their order. Is there a script or something that will do this? If not can anybody assist in making one?
Thanks

Qball is good in MYSQL I think. I think Vass might be too. Do you need it on a web page? You can do some of that in Access, and put it on a web page as well. All you need to do is make parameter queries.

Database part (ADMIN PART)
A webpage where i can input the persons name, Status of the order, when received, when shipped, and tracking number..

Sounds good
Ummm uhhh
I don't know MySQL though LOL
However, I do know sql so that is a big part of it there
Well we're gonna have to have some info...
As in what OS do you want this on?
What kind of front end do you want?
ASP (Winders only)
Perl.... pick your poison
I'm always up for a good learning experience, especially if I have a project

If you contact me, I will modify something that Qball help me with so that it will work.
I have most of it done already, You might want to see if qball thinks it would be ok to use for what you need. |

by all means, take a look at ChoaticWhisper's stuff, it's not exactly what you want, but would be a good start. Though it does have searching (user) and inserting records (admin).
Post back with any questions, or start new thread.
