do you know of a WINDOWS sendmail program?

my forum is on Windows because the Linux fun ended when my dad went nuts over the video lag it had.

ok now, there are some people have private message set to "disabled" so when you try to PM them, it tries to send an email. so that is why i need a sendmail program.

i've tried a few before but i could not get them to work, do you know of any easy to configure ones?

YOu might not need a sendmail program. I run a message board and I dont. I just had to set the mail thing to smtp instead of sendmail. I have no idea what forum software youre using though

it took me a while to figure out what you were trying to say since i'm not the networking kind of guy
(my bag is programming languages) but i tried that. i used the smtp server that my
ISP email account is setup with and i used that same login name and
password but then when i ran the test for an email reply, just after posting it
gives this error message:

Not sure if this is what you mean, but we use postie to send email out from a command line/batch file.
