    Question Ipswitch FTP issues

    Hi everyone.

I bought a domain years back and toyed with it for a bit but then let it sit without updating it in years. I've been trying to give the website a long overdue remake. I used a WYSIWYG program called WebPlus x5 to develop the site. I went to publish the site using the software and the changes wouldn't show up. It gave me an error saying that there were basically multiple index files and it was going to use the original one. This software didn't appear to give me the ability to see what files I was actually transferring to the server (I buy the server space) so I got a free trial version of Ipswitch to actually move and see all the files.

However, I can't seem to understand where my files should actually be going. I know they all need to end up in the /public_html folder. When I use WebPlus to try and re-upload the files, Ipswitch will show them all in the top most directory (/). I move all my pages into the /public_html directory and none of my pictures show up - only the text. So I try moving all my images to the images folder within the /public_html directory but still nothing. I'm still pretty new to web page development but I'm pretty sure my JScript and CSS files will need to be moved as well (but I have no idea as where).

As a side note - Google Chrome still reverts back to the old site no matter what (unless I delete all my webpages, new and old. But if the new pages are there it still shows the old ones. However in IE my new pages are showing up, but only the text)

I've been working on this for hours and am completely frustrated, but I have work tomorrow so I'm hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction so I can finish this tomorrow.

As always, thank you very much - your help is greatly appreciated!
