PHP problem in Apache 1.3.26 - Tech Support Forums

I just installed apache 1.3.26 with PHP 4.2.1 on my Windows XP computer, and I'm writing a script for specific IP's to goto different pages, BUT it cant echo any ENV variables. I have a linux box running mandrake 8.1 and it run's the script fine!

Any idea's why none of the ENV variables don't work?

got it.. had to change ' register_globals ' in php.ini to on

Actually, it would probably be better for you to learn to new var scheme that PHP is using which is said to be much more secure (I've not written any 'security-conscious' scripts as of yet, so I can't properly comment)
Though I did rewrite my mp3db app to use PHP's new vars.. Hardest part was figuring out which vars belonged in which namespace (GET, POST, SESSION, SERVER, etc)
