Why do so many Asian company websites run on Windows Webservers?

I am wondering about one thing:
The internet is made of 90% Linux-Wesbervers (no clue if that is true - but it feels like it). But mostly every I check a Chinese website I see Microsoft-Webservers in the background running jut like on this one: link removed (I check it with web-sniffer.net).
Can anyone tell me why there is such a difference in usage of webservers in different countries? Or Am I just checking on the wrong websites and it is all the same?

And why is the URL I submitted to this Chinese website so rewritten that it shows text from there instead of the real URL? Hmm, well, you can visit it and see what URL I mean ;-)

[Edit: no, the link got removed now ...

I removed it because for one it looks like spam, and for two it is entirely irrelevant to the question at hand.

I'm not sure where you come up with the idea that Linux has a 90% share, and I can't find anything that would even remotely support that. But the few recent reports I could find give MS almost a 70% share and Linux/Unix down to under 30%. Wikipedia contradicts that giving Linux/Unix 64% and MS 36% Usage share of operating systems - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Don't know that there is any solid information out there though.

edit: I see those numbers are reflective of all servers and server types. Netcraft lists domain server OSs and gives a clearer picture May 2012 Web Server Survey | Netcraft that won't likely help as it relates to China as they likely don't share their info but it gives a better idea of the rest of the web.

If you want a reason why, you'd need to look at the hosting companies involved in your query. You are likely only seeing a small segment of the web which limits your information available however my guess would be that because MS wanted to dominate the up and coming Chinesse market years ago and pushed themselves into a stronger position than any Linux based companies could.
