Nothing really

This thread has not been posted in lately, so I thought I would go ahead and give it a bump. Maybe it will spark a little bit of interest.

Went out and bought a new programming book last night; gonna try my luck at programming with DirectX. My largest regret is that the book emphasizes using Visual C++......DOH! Oh well, life is never easy.

Anywho, nothing else really.

Well it would make sense that it would emphasize VC++ seeing as its all MS...

Good luck
Have you considered OpenGL instead? Not limited as much to MS software...

Actually Vass, OpenGL never did cross my mind. Perhaps a trip back to the bookstore is necessary.

I had a thread awhile ago of opengl vs. directx (think it was in video cards forum...) and a few people said opengl is actually easier to code for than directx

Send a message via ICQ to Agent_Embryo
I can program "Hello World" in a console app in C++.

When I tried doing it in a windows app it...didn't come out right...
