Please help!!!

Hi every1!
Well I'm completely new to this forum but my name's Gemma, I'm a 17 year old from New Zealand, and I really need help!!!!
One of my friends asked me to design a website for him a couple of months ago, which I agreed to 'coz he is an amazing musician who really needed a website to show the world his stuff! ;-) Now while I am completely secure with using HTML and cgi etc he wanted a flash site so I asked one of my web design "friends" to help out! But to cut a long story short that "friend" has turned out to be completely unreliable and 3 months later I have a half finished website (and kinda dodgy at that! lol) and a friend who's wondering why its taking so long to get his website up and running!
The biggest problem is that im totally not proficient at flash, and while I've got the dynamic text and everything to work, thats about my limit! The half finished .swf works ok, and its a start, but the biggest problem is that there's a photo gallery link but I don't know how to make a photo gallery in flash! I have the photos and the .fla files and flash mx but no idea how to do it!
With exams looming (ahh the joys of being a teenager ;-) I don't have time to figure it out but if someone could help me or point me in the way of a website tutorial (one thats in plain english preferably!) it would be so much appreciated!
I really want to get this guys website online and running for him! 3 months is a rather long time to wait and I don't want to let him down any longer so am pretty darn desperate for help! ;-(

OK, looks good.
By 'photo gallery' do you mean a pagefull of thumbnails which link through to larger images, or a slideshow, or something else altogether?

If you mean thumbnails, just do it the same way you have with the links, and load into the same window or a popup. For a slideshow try the tutorial on macromedia's support center site.

I often stop by flashblog which also has some good links.

Something I would recommend for the usability of the site as a whole is to make the navigation links cover the whole of the text graphic and not just the non-transparent areas of the lettering. At the moment this makes it harder to select a link and the link tends to flicker (maybe i'm just a jumpy kind of person )

If you actually want the flickery effect, better to do it as an animated graphic but keep the link area intact.
