Now, this actually should be trivial. SourceSafe is SCC compliant, interdev supports this...
All the hooks are there in interdev. If exist on pc installing sourcesafe, sourcesafe should have part of the install to config interdev. Else, just install SS, go into interdev (search help for SCC) and one of the menus should be source control or tools or something where you config your version control tool. if this too cryptic, see first sentence.
