Page refreshing?
I didn't know where else to put this question I hope this is a good place for it.
Question: Is there anything I can do to make a website that I have open in IE refresh over and over non stop?
Ex - Like if it was my friends website and he wanted his counter to have a large amount of people on it, so I refreshed it a bunch while I went to sleep.
Is this possible? This is very important. Thanks for all the help

Well, you could hold down the F5 key when his site is in the active window on the desktop (the IE border at the top is blue showing that the window is active). F5 is the refresh key and will boost his numbers if the counter does not differentiate between IP repeats. (remote chance of working...emphasis on remote chance)
You can always change the counter number in the counter settings, too.
lol, you beat me to it surreal. I posted and then was going to move it.

not much really!! but I think he was refering to the "no-cache" meta tag that I mentioned in the thread... which, btw, was brought to (my) memory by means of viewing the source of the berkley.edu link that clubmed posted in his opening post!
I've also posted a link there to a more thorough overview of stopping pages from caching!
ciao!

Why not just post the page on FARK?
www.fark.com
They've been known to 'kill' servers...
