I finally compiled a C program. I used the text editor on Mac OS X unix terminal, and compiled it from there IM SOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like macs don't suck after all. (well, hardware wise, they are a bit slow)

OSX is just Darwin for PPC.
The Aqua UI is patented though, but you can get lookalikes.
It should come with GCC. So should windows, but M$ makes money off it's own development systems so it doesn't.
And of course it's better than windows, but you have to admit that apple has an easier job with it's OS than M$ as they can strictly control the hardware it runs on.
