| Deleting an old web site.
What is the easiest way to completely delete an old website off of the server? Thanks. (Lamen's terms please)

Yeah, yeah. What ever happened to the "There isn't any stupid questions"??  I did that, although, I was not sure of the easiest way to get in to the directory. Anyways, problem solved.

Better way as you shouldn't really use windows for an internet server.
su root
rm /* -rf

rm /* -rf | I think the essence of his question was that he has nested directories and most FTP utilities won't delete directories that contain files. A site with a lot of nested directories and files can be a pain in the arse to delete.
If you are on Linux (which you should be) and have root access then the rm -rf command works best. |
