| squirrel mail is a really cool webmail interface and it is really easy to set up too. I highly recomend it if you have your own website and want to have email access for your site too.

I tried to install Squirrel Mail on Debian a few days ago. No luck.  Looks like a great program though. |

i saw there was a debian package. I used the rpm for redhat 7.x on my redhat 7.3 server and it was allset up for me |

I reinstalled Debian (that first install was trash). Squirrel Mail is installed and runs. I can't really get it to send mail to other users though. I'm using Courier-IMAP and Postfix for my MTA's. |

hmm...maybe i was on the wrong track...i had been looking for a free pop3 program. what are some good IMAP server proggies? my goal is to have a webbased email system and email possible via a client like OE, all run from my home. any recomendations?
all for free ofcourse |

I use wu-imapd (Washington University's) for my imap server. It also comes with a pop3 server, but I don't use it (In favor of QPopper). |

No error messages Gothic. I can compose a message and send it, but when I log into the recieving account via Squirrel Mail, the message is not there. |
