I'm trying to migrate a website from an NT4 server to a W2K one, and while copying the files to the webroot is fine, and I can get a default page to be viewed online, I don't seem able to get the Internet Service Manager on the new server to find the site, so I can't set permissions on the folders within the site. As soon as I fire it up, it comes up with a "Could not connect to <servername>. Path could not be found" error (I paraphrase).
A friend mentioned that I may have to "trick" the ISM into finding it, but he didn't elaborate much further. Does anyone have a simple resolution?
