New on C++
hi gyes!
I can program in Pascal and C and now I want to start with C++. Does anybody know any good book to study?
I studied C from a book of Herbert Schildt and it was very nice. Is there any other book of the same writer about C++?
I wait for your suggestions!
P.S.: send me also prv messages if possible, in order to see them more easily.

Deitel & Deitel How to Program C++
That is by far and away the easiest, most comprehensive book on the market, in my opinion.

I've got that book sitting next to me. It's what I'm using to learn C++.
Great book.

I reccommend a physical book but if you cant get something right away play around with one of the following for a little.

Now that I'm starting to study TC++ for windows, yet it is so simple, so different from VC++ from MS, could anyone help me a point to VC++ ? I mean, start VC++ from blank project.
