FTP to Frontpage server without Frontpage

Hey,

I have a web site I maintain that's located on a server that only allows frontpage connections (no FTP), which is a bummer considering (no offense to others that think otherwise) frontpage = dreamweaver = (and I don't have access to a local copy of frontpage - I could do a crack, but....). Anyone know of a way to use Dreamweaver to update the site? I've already used their frontpage plug-in, but no-can-do because it requires a change in administrative settings, and it's located on a University's server...

Any ideas would be appreciated because maintenance is getting a little too sporadic for my liking.
