Playing a midi file

I have several small midi files on my website I would like to have them play when a link is clicked, instead of them downloading. How can I make this happen?

Thanx
BC

What I was after was if you go to the page, you can click a link to listen to several different midi files.Not to use one as a background sound

Thanx ER

Oh, I think you can just add a link to the midi then, when clicked on, the browser should play it.

What does the code look like?

<a href="bp.mid">

It might be a browser setting, IE6 just opens it in WMP.
Opera asks to download it, although, if I tell it to just open from then on, it opens it in WMP. Mozilla is the same way.
