is everyone using the 1.4.1 jvm? could that have anything to do with it?
UPDATE: I just checked out my applet from several computers at my school, and it works just fine. Security settings may have something to do with it to. Who knows. For those of you who CAN see it tho, test it out and give me some feedback if you can Thanks!

| Maybe, especially if you are using 1.4.1 stuff. Have you checked the jvm on the pcs that did work?
Could also be browser setting, as in no java. Hard to debug and a good example of a shortcoming of using java applets, you need a fairly standard browser jvm client config.
They work great on intranets and the like (somwhat controlled environments)... |

I also have a gray deal instead of your bank teller
I changed security settings and that did nothing for me

Nice. It's working for me. (using opera).
MMM... is there a way for you to clear the screen when you select the account numbers? They all seem to clutter on the output screen!.
Also, check whether you can actually withdraw a correct amount for an account.. i.e. if you have $1200 in savings you can't withdraw $1300, etc.
Otherwise.. very nice !

hmm....good deal eagle. I think I had that implemented in the application I made but not in this applet (I dont remember if the method withdraw() checked for that error internally or not...gotta check)
and yeah there is a way to clear the screen when you select a new account. I just gotta change the method from append(...) to setText(...) |
