Stop images loading..SOMETIMES!

Howdy all,

Does anyone know if there is a way to restrict images from loading on certain pages (besides through IE options every time to stop pictures)?
I want most sites to load normally but others that I visit regularly, eg. Hotmail or the local TV guide, to refrain from displaying any graphics for quicker loading times.

Cheerz

Hi,
I am not sure about IE but I do not think this possible except for the way you allready know. On the other hand, you could try to use a browser like Opera or Phoenix. You can download them both for free (Opera has an ad-banner) and work they really great! You will directly find the buttons that you want in the taskbars to prevent pages from loading images or stylesheets. Besides being real FAST browsers, they have build in cool features like mousegestures, popupblockers and passwordmanagers. After using them for a week or so you will probably not want to use IE anymore. I hope this helped.
Greetings!

!
I can't even imagine changing browsers right now, I use IE so often & I'm designing multiple sites at the moment, maybe later when I'm not as busy. I have heard that Opera is good for that sort of thing before, I'll keep it in mind, but for now I thought maybe a prog, similar to the pop-up blocking sftware available, being able to choose certain sites to exclude.
Or maybe a registry hack...

Thanx for the reply

well if you are designing multiple sitess currently you should get a few of the popular browsers just to make sure your site is showing up correctly.. IE netscape, opera, and IE they all tend to handle HTML slightly differently.
