| Am I missing any important FREE downloads?
I've been in the process of updating my hobby/biz site. I have included a page for "free downloads" for windows users. My list of "FREE" windows downloads
Am I missing any important / obvious ones ?
Thanks. |

What about winzip Extractor? or something like that. I use that a quite a bit.
spybot search and destroy
Sysgate personal firewall.
Tiny's personal firewall.
MSConfig for those win2k users.
I'd give a person a choice between firewalls.
those are the only ones I can see that are not listed. |

To tell the truth, I prefer StartupCPL over MSconfig for W2K! (Or any other version of Winder's!)
Also, l like to use PowerArchiver for *.zip files!

crouse,
win2k users don't have msconfig. however 98/ME/XP do. www.mlin.net has a good startup CP that I use. works great.

mike lin's got some great stuff...i use his startup manager & clipomatic utilities as well.
you should probably create a category called Utilties.
i would added diskeeper and JV's registry toolkit to the list. |
