QBasic question

hey yall. i am trying to make a program in qbasic to write batchfiles with. i want to be able to change variables in the program and then write/edit a batch file with it then run the batch file. can i get some help please?

i have pretty good knowlege of qb. i am very limited in my knowledge of visual basic but i do know a little. if this would be easier in visual basic then im all ears

It would probably be easier in VB, and you could have a nice UI for making the changes. Anyway, which parts are you having problems with -- changing the variables, writing the batch file, running the batch file, ... ?

is there a way to write string variables to the file without them being in quotes in the batch file?
