Getting a forum for my site...

My Site
(yeah, not even close to being finished )

I need a forum for it. I have never gotten a forum before, and i have no idea how to go about getting one, so im asking for a little help please. I am assuming you can just download them off the web?

I'm looking for something that:

*is free
*i can customise
*does not have a massive registration form

infact, i wouldnt even mind if guests could post... the easier it is to post, the more people that will imo.

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Also, if you have a forum at your site i would love a link just to see whats available and also i could have a little go to see how it works for the user :x

thanks~

phpBB2 One of the best free boards out there

My most current examples are:

http://www.usalug.org/phpBB2/
http://www.iowawebmasters.com/demos/phpBB2/index.php

I have tried several. Invision Power Board is pretty good too. If your willing to pay... vbulletin like techimo runs on is one of the very best.

Here is a list of 168 of them to choose from

It's the best free one I've used. I've tried a few.

Have fun
