I actually have the manual it comes with the distro I downoaded, but take a read, its not exactly newbie friendly its more geared twoard prvieous users of MySQL.

openoffice.org 1.0, odbc, and mysql 'how to'. (2.12mb)

this is all i have on MySQL, thought i had more; better ebooks.

right click, save as. if not it will open in your browser since its .pdf format
