C++ Runtime error

I'am getting this message every time I launch my CAD program (MiniCad 6)
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime error!
Program C:\PROGRAM FILES\MINICAD\MINICAD.EXE

Abnormal Program Termination

Tried to Uninstall and install to no luck, Also I replaced the EXE file in question with one I know works (from my notebook). I'm fairly sure that some other program is the culprit, I just can't find out which one. I even reformated and then tried to keep track at what point the program stopped working. Everything else is working fine, All programs launch and work.

Randy

Are you running this on a newer OS than the one that the packaging recommended (old API calls)

Are you running this on an NTFS volume where there might be some sort of security restriction associated with your username? Just today I dealt with a call where NTFS security was causing abnormal termination errors on a program encoded in C. By opening up MODIFY access to the location where the file was located, the error corrected itself.

AutoCAD14 causes simillar errors if NTFS security is not opened up to on the client computer with a POWER USER setting.

Hope this helps.

Oops double post, Raf

Well you could replace or install the runtime files.
Download the msvcrtXX files here:
