I have made a website and I am going to be putting it onto a CD, how do you create an autorun for the CD so it runs the index.htm file automatically when you insert the CD into a drive? |

open=yourpage.html
Save it, rename the extension to .inf
make sure it's in the root of the cd

What is the great need for autorun cds?
Most people I know have disabled the autorun feature
The info is absolutely correct, check out the recent 'how to create .iso' thread for additional info on this autorun matter.

Here's the thread for reference: how to make an .iso

didn't work, I get an error saying "Access to speified device, path, or file is denied"
if i double click on my cdrom I get the error "D:\ is not a valid Win32 application"
I can explore the directory fine and I have to autorun in the route of the cd with the index.htm file |

so I get the feeling that an autorun cd will only work with an application (.exe) file, if this is so can I convert the webpage to and application file? |
