I've a peculiar question: What is the difference b/w B.E. & B.Tech(don't tell me B.E. stands for Bachelor of engineering)?

That wasn't very nice of you to crap the thread qball.
I would assume that the Curriculum in BE would focus more on Engineering, ie, Circuits, Microprocessors,Engineering ethics etc. While B.Tech would focus on Hardware & Software, not going in depth to each.
Don't quote me on that though....
BTW, I don't think this board is best to get an answer for that as India has different degree programs than over here in the US.

Heh.. nice Link Bill.
FYI, The link you gave is for IIT (indian Institute Of Technology) and is labelled as the Hardest College to get into in the whole world... harder than MIT. Only the ultra-ultra-ultra-l337 students get accepted into that college.
The sad thing is that 75% of IIT Graduates come to America , thereby 'brain-draining' India.. the Co-founder of Sun and the CEO of Citibank are just a few of the IIT graduates who hold big positions in the States. |

Hey qball, I'm just an 18 year old boy & don't know much about the issue. Neither do my friends know about it, as it really is a tricky one which most people don't know. So, I thought that the best & fastest way to get the answer would be through the forum. Now, don't just continue to act like a dumb & try to help me(if you ever can). Anyways, thankyou other guys for being in my favour.

Bill, the site you refered contains the information only about B.Tech. I already have some knowledge about B.Tech. but have very little about B.E.
