VB 5/6 Volume Controls MIC, LINE-IN, WAVE

Hey,

I've got a question that I have yet to find an answer for. I'm not REAL VB savvy... but I do understand the general layout/code structure and have created many helpful programs at work.... however.. I have a task I need VB to do that I can't find any help on.

Here's what I want. I want a hidden program (easy) that runs in the backround all the time.... It basically needs to watch the "Master Volume Control" for Windows... and if the volume goes up or down.... it needs to move the WAVE, MIC, and LINE-IN to match. I want WAVE, MIC, and LINE-IN to ALWAYS match. The reason for this is because the VIA EPIA M10000 motherboard has onboard 5.1 surround.... and it uses the MIC and LINE-IN as the other 2 outputs when 5.1 is enabled. If you turn up the master volume.. only the front speakers turn up (WAVE).... I need MIC and LINE-IN to match that movement.

Any suggestions? I can't find anything on adjusting the WAVE, MIC, and LINE-In.... only the master volume. I guess I just dont know what to set xxx value to.. to make the volume match XXX number or however that works. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
