| Setting up an IRC channel
How can I host an IRC channel off of my website? My site is http://www.gamershdq.com . If possible can a TeamSpeak server be hosted off my site too?

I think I know where you are going at. I think I'll give it a try when I have time on Friday. Thanks

look for a java irc applet you can embed in your page. I dont think your provider would like you hosting a IRC server, but you can use one of the many irc networks already out there. Look for one with chanserv's and nickserv's so you dont have to put up with people trying to steal your channel. It's been so long since i've used irc, but a google search should bring up some good results. |

You need a shell account to host an irc server, and it's alot of work, maintaining the ircd, the server, attacks, members, etc |

If you can install software onto the server that hosts your website then you can setup a TeamSpeak server there too. |

IF you have your own server, you can host teamspeak. I set up teamspeak on my web server and it was very easy. |
