You're trying to access it by your local IP address or your Internet address?
What happens when you try http://localhost on the machine apache is running on?

If localhost works then it sound like an issue with your name regstration or router config, ie not forwarding the port.
Try to ping it and make sure it is going to the correct IP.
Can you access the website by IP instead of hostname?

I see we have some updates

How are you set up here?
Have you rebooted your router / verified the configuration? Does an nmap or portscan show port 80 being open? Can you reach port 80 from outside at all?
If localhost works on port 80 then this is not an apache problem, you will need to troublshoot your network setup.

Ok, reboot your router, and just give me your ip if you feel comfortable. If you dont then you can go to here
http://grc.com/x/ne.dll?rh1dkyd2
and click on all service ports, make sure that 80 is open, it will need to be in order to access your website on the standard port.
I would also do a reboot of the router.
If port 80 shows open, and you still cannot get to your website, do a traceroute from a remote machine and see where it is timing out.

If it says that all ports are closed then there will be a problem getting to port 80 on your computer eh

Reboot your router, then look at the config and make sure that port 80 is forwarded to your internal IP. A reboot might fix it if it is already forwarded in the config and merely stopped working.
edit: Good to hear

no problem. With mine, 560 Ti's in SLI, I don't get much GPU usage with internet, they'll heat up to maybe 40-45C, 50 if the room is warm, with GPU acceleration in the browser. otherwise mine...
SLI problem? :(
