Just looking for opinions on my site =)

Any comments welcome =)

Layout, colors, spelling errors , links, load time etc. If anyone wants to have a click around i would appreciate it.

I made it for my dad's new company so the content will no doubt bore you all to tears (it did me) =)

Thanks.

It appears to be severely lacking in content.

Not sure if that 'be' is supposed to be there or not. The whole phrase sounds ackward.

There are too many with the word "modelling" when it should be "modeling", so you'll have to hunt those down for your self.

OK, that's it for the free trial... j/j

If you want me to spell check the whole thing for you, I can't do it for free...

Hope this helps you!

Remember though, I'm not trying to nit-pick, I just realize that the way your site represents the company, is how the public will view the company. And, if there are typos, bad grammar, etc. that won't help the company's image.

David

BTW, I just realized that this company, and yourself, are located in England... Well, I'm not familiar with the difference in some of the spellings, so if the 's' instead of 'z' is correct and some of the other corrections, please forgive me.

You are forgiven And thank you very much.

I have been copying and pasting from a word document written by my dad so all the spelling mistakes are his work

Gonna hunt down that missing page tomorrow, thanks again.

website critique

It is kind of hard to give helpful observation without knowing a little more about your goals and reason for creation of the website. Can you explain a few other things such as:

What do you wish to achieve with the website? Are you trying to just give info to visitors (go to our website for details) or are you trying to entice visitors that find your website in search engines to do business with you?

Can you list the URL of a few of your competitors' websites. Maybe we could see what they offer and what you could add / remove etc.

I think it cuold keep ones interest a little longer or make one want to go further into the website and visit more pages ans stay on the website a little longer if there were a few pictures. Only because I find it a little boring to read through all the text and the links to find out if the material is something I want to learn more about but without knowing the purpose and goals that you have for the site it's hard to make that judgement.

One additional thing that can really help you learn if it is a good website is to put tracking counters on each page or to check stats on your hoating service to see how long people stay on each page or how many pages they visit and how they progress through the website. All the websites I have designed have actual links right on the bottom of each page so I can access this info quickly and easily. If people are visiting 4 or more pages and spending more than a few minutes on my website I figure it mayu be doing what I want and that the visitors are interested. If the visitors stay 10 seconds on one page, 2 seconds on another and leave I know it needs work. I then make changes and continue to track until visits and visit lengths improve.
