| website creating program???
i need a good program to create a website, preferably something kinda simple but w/e ya'll got ill take

I'm assuming your on a windows machine. The following are all for windows ...... if your running Linux let me know, I'll offer some different suggestions then.
HTML-Kit http://www.chami.com/html-kit/

Arachnophilia http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/
are all good html editors..... and puk is correct.... notepad works good too  If you want a totally awesome TEXT/html editor..... i have yet to find a better one than notetabpro (about$20) or notetablight (free) www.notetab.com Text editors do require that you know how to code html by hand and not be dependent on a wyswyg style editor.
Personally, I'm glad I've learned to code by hand. I suggest you take the time to learn that way, even if you must use a wyswyg editor, knowing how to read the code will allow you to troubleshoot and fix things much easier.

Dreamweaver is Kick-arse.
though i love and use notepad, dreamweaver produces clean crisp code.
im sure people here, includig myself, would be willing to help you lezrn and use html

If you must use a wyswyg editor, Dreamweaver is probably the best one. Although I wouldn't call it's coding perfect, it's leagues ahead of Frontpage. |
