Jack Thompson has apparently
annoyed the Florida Supreme Court about as much as he has annoyed the video game industry, as the highest court in the sunshine state will no longer accept direct filings from the controversial attorney, thus essentially forcing Thompson into securing legal representation to file briefs on his behalf.
No one has ever accused Jack Thompson of knowing when to shut up, and he has, in the hours since the Florida Supreme Court edict, filed two new motions with the Court. Today’s order, of course, warns that he will face contempt charges should he file anything under his own name, so that step would now appear inevitable.
