My baby...been working on this one for about a year. Love her, Very fast bike. Waiting on a set of Vance and Hines, should be here mid Sept. Let me know what cha think. Always open to suggestions.

Are you sure that is a 79' and not a 78' GS1000 S?

Here's my 79' GS1000L with dual front disk breaks, single disk rear on 5 spoke mags.

Worked on it over 3 years to get it running right.

I've been testing out tires and I've found the Spitfire II's to be a great tour/sport tire for these big 4 thumpers.

very nice. reminds me of my friends yamaha xs1100 special. very retro looking. i dig it. interesting look going with the hard bags, ill give you credit for that one.
