look at the front plate, its a european plate, so prolly a european only model.

E46 models are standard BMW models, which are modified,tuned and rebuild with sport body-kits. The company that does this is Hamann: http://www.hamann-motorsport.de/

E46 is just a "age group", forexample cars back in the late 80's are called E30, then the next generation was the E36, now they are called E48 i think? And yes, this is only the case in Europ, in the states i think they go with only numbers?
